Positivity: Ed Sheeran's New Album, "Divide"
Folks, Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) is the real deal. His new album "Divide" is on point - a genuine feel good album. Spreading love and positivity, Ed has proven his intentions. We should be reminded he writes his own music and clearly spreads a message he believes in. LOVE, DREAMS, POSITIVITY, OPTIMISM - this album has it all.
At face value you might wonder, why is this new album called "Divide". Let's take a look at the album cover to get a bit more context.

You will notice that this is the mathematical division sign much like the other symbolism Ed has used in the past with "+" and "x". Ed is interpreting these symbols in a way that is unique as proven by his latest album, "Divide". The lyrics do not imply division - at all. I am looking forward to learning more about Sheeran's interruption of "Divide".
My personal favorite lyrics are from his song "What Do I Know?":
"I'll paint the picture, let me set the scene
I know when I have children they will know what it means
And I pass on these things my family's given to me
Just love and understanding, positivity
We could change this whole world with a piano
Add a bass, some guitar, grab a beat
And away we go
I'm just a boy with a one-man show
No university, no degree
But lord knows everybody's talking 'bout exponential growth"
Together, we can find the good in the world and change it at the same time. Do yourself a favor and pick up Ed Sheeran's new albums, you won't be disappointed.
